If you had to choose a few words to describe Bernard Rochon, they would have to be: passionate, multi-talented, honest, altruistic and original.

For 30 years now, Bernard has been know has an extremely talented hairdresser. At 20 years old, he was already accumulating many trophies in different competitions, at the provincial and the international levels. He is known for his originality and for being ahead of his time.

Sought after for his creativity, he gives public demonstrations for such companies as “L’ Oréal de Paris”, “Bonat”, “Scrupules”, “ Schwarzkoff ” and “Lakmé ”. He shares his knowledge with the new generation of hairdressers, coaches more than one and gives many teaching seminars . He helped create and enhance the look of many well-known artists such as Rock Voisine, Jano Bergeron, Renée Martel, Ertha Kitt and many more. But Bernard’s true love lies with the clientele that visits his salon. This is where he likes to use his talents on a daily basis.

In his perpetual search for beauty, it is at 35 years old that Bernard turns his attention to the inner beauty of the human being. He returns to school and gets a certificate in psychotherapy. He then works mostly with people that have severe dependencies. He also accompanies people that are dying. He conducts personal growth workshops with couples and groups. He also gives consultations in private sessions. He gives many conferences on alcohol and drug abuse, AIDS and relationships. He also sits on the board of directors of different organizations such as “ La Resource de la Source” and “Maison Amaryllis”. He also assists the volunteers that work at Clip/SIDA, in the Montérégie area.

Today, still searching for beauty in all it’s forms, he uses photography as the ultimate media where he can use his many talents. He values all the sensuality of the human being. He uses dramatic lighting and loves to use different accessories, sometimes simple and sometimes out of the ordinary. He is specially good in make-over’ s and then loves to freeze the result with a picture.
