For 30 years, Bernard Rochon used his knowledge in aesthetics’ for television and fashion photo shoots. An artiste
since his teenage years, Bernard was always in quest of true beauty. His specialty was make-over’s. He coordinated every details: hairstyling, make-up, wardrobe and décor.
He mastered every aspect of his creations. He then attended classed and became himself a photographer. His true love: glamorizing the wonders of the human body. It is
with romanticism. Respect and sensuality that he treats all his subjects. Dramatic lightings, sensual poses, femininity and virility are the essential elements of the
prefect picture.
Bernard now blends painting and photography to give his work a unique effect. His models become a canvas on which
he paints a palette of whimsical colors and shapes. He pursues the same pattern on the background behind the model and then immortalizes his work by photography.
He works with audacity, passion for details, originality and authenticity. He proudly assumes the many reactions incited by his work.
In 2009, he showed his work at “Quoi de neuf” restaurant in Montréal. Last April, he participated in “Project Hope 2010”
(International exhibition of arts pieces and auction for the AIDS foundation).
